FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Sync Space Entrepreneur Center and “Bundled” announce a partnership for a pilot program to enhance accelerator programs in the Appalachian Highlands.
Sync Space will partner with Knoxville-based Bundled to bring a grant-based opportunity for regional professionals to assist startup companies who participate in the Rural Accelerators.
The partnership includes a commitment of more than $60,000 in grants over multiple Sync Space accelerator cohorts. Local service providers, including legal, marketing, accounting, software development, and other services, are encouraged to apply to be a Bundled partner. As a partner, providers will qualify for grants within the program for their work with our small business and entrepreneurial communities.
“With the Sync Space accelerators, we select participants, in part, by our ability to help connect their service or product within the broader goals and strengths of our region,” says Heath Guinn, President of Sync Space. “Working with Bundled in the past has produced incredible results for entrepreneurs in the region. This new partnership allows us to provide grants to participating professional service providers to encourage their work with these early-stage companies.”
Being recognized by Rise of the Rest as a best practice for entrepreneurial support in 2020, Bundled exists to accelerate growth in high potential companies, create business development opportunities for best-in-class service providers, and support inclusive economic development. Bundled is continuing to onboard service providers and fractional executives in the region who have a passion for seeing the success of early-stage companies.
“We’re excited to have the opportunity to work closely with Sync Space to facilitate relationships between service providers and startup companies in the Appalachian Highlands,” stated Bundled CEO, Courtney Jones. “We know that the growth of the ecosystem depends on creating connections that allow growing companies to stay in the region and thrive.”
The Rural Accelerator application begins late August and is open to both local and national entrepreneurs that have a product, technology, or service that aligns with the economic development and workforce goals of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. You can find more information about the cohort and opportunities the selected companies will receive found at syncspace.org/rural.
