Sync Space Entrepreneur Center is an economy development organization as part of the State of Tennessee’s Launch Tennessee network, providing entrepreneurial mentoring, networking, access to capital programs while serving the upper eight counties of Northeast Tennessee, the southernmost counties of Southwest Virginia as part of the Appalachian Highlands.

Awarded Grants
ARC Ready Grant
Sync Space Entrepreneur Center received a grant to expand its “Training Local Entrepreneurship Facilitators in Rural Counties” project. This funding supports in-county facilitators across eight rural counties in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, enhancing entrepreneurial programming, resources, and community engagement. The initiative strengthens long-term sustainability and economic growth in these regions.
Innovation Village
Sync Space, in partnership with ETSU Research Corporation and Northeast State, is expanding Innovation Village with ARC grant support. This initiative addresses talent retention, digital literacy, and workforce training, providing digital skills, creative economy resources, and re-skilling programs for underserved communities. The project fosters economic growth through education, technology, and entrepreneurship.
Digital Skills Training
SyncSpace.org has been awarded the DSEW Grant to expand digital literacy and workforce training for disadvantaged individuals. This funding supports our online training school, equipping students with essential tech and job-readiness skills. With DSEW’s support, we’re bridging skill gaps, fostering economic mobility, and creating equitable career opportunities for underserved communities.
TN Placemakers
The TN Placemakers Entrepreneurship Fund is a financial resource pool aimed at assisting communities across Tennessee, from rural to urban areas, in developing and training small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Tennessee Titans
SyncSpace.org is honored to receive a Tennessee Titans Foundation Grant to support workforce training for disadvantaged individuals. This funding strengthens our online training school, providing digital skills and job readiness programs. With the Titans’ support, we’re empowering underserved communities, bridging employment gaps, and creating pathways to sustainable careers.
Minority Outreach
Our Diversity Programs offer a 8-week, and six-month accelerator program empowering entrepreneurs of color. Participants gain access to connections, on-demand curriculum, capital resources, individualized coaching, and mentorship. The program fosters economic growth by equipping minority business owners with the tools to scale their ventures and create lasting impact.
