“What if we looked at entrepreneurship as a way to address challenges we face in the region or a way to recruit companies to come here?” That question was posed by President of Sync.Space, Heath Guinn, during a recent presentation to the Kingsport Economic Development Board (KEDB) in a meeting held at Streamworks.
Guinn pointed out Sync.Space should be able to leverage Kingsport assets like the Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing and The Inventor Center to recruit start-ups.
In particular, Sync.Space is eyeing start-ups in medical devices and software, population health services and education advancement technologies.
